Have you heard of Power Dressing? Well, you certainly did because this vibe is making its comeback from the late 70s to nowadays. At that time women had to wear bulky pant suits in order to take their place in men’s world. As for today, the continuing battle is less hard and we are all sure the future is female! That fact softened the options of style choice for women. Pant suits became extremely popular in every possible color and variation! No need to stick to traditional black, navy blue or grey, let your feeling guide you.
Every brand today offers its own interpretation of the power dressing look. While browsing in the stores I was truly impressed by the wide range of pant suits. Straight, slim, cropped or wide leg pants with jackets of the different length. Amazing, right? As for me, I had a major crush on the white pin striped suit from Lucy Paris. The full set consisted of trousers, high-waisted shorts, cropped top, and blazer. So basically you can choose whatever the combination fits and works for you better. Bringing the best of both worlds together where the trouser meets menswear stripes feels very empowering and looks very elegant!
Suit up and own the situation!
That suit is my go-to outfit for the important meetings at work and improvised dinners with friends. When you are a working girl in a big city, it means a lot of things, and especially you have to be always ready for whatever happens! So what could better prove that when you plan to shoot a Power Dressing look?! Pouring rain, haha! That could be a disaster for my look, but actually turned into beautiful moment! I loved embracing the challenge, owning the situation and living a little magic!
P.S. I did save the suede shoes after 🙂
